As a skilled SolidWorks CAD Engineer with 2+ years of experience, your role at GBYTES SOLUTIONS in Chennai will involve developing 3D models, detailed drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks. Collaboration with internal teams and clients is crucial to ensure designs meet functional and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks.- Design, modify, and optimize mechanical components and assemblies.- Conduct design validation through simulations, tolerance analysis, and feasibility studies.- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs meet functional and manufacturing requirements.- Assist in prototype development and provide design support throughout the product lifecycle.- Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve design challenges.- Maintain an organized CAD database and document design revisions accurately.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Design, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, or a related field.- 1+ years of experience in SolidWorks.- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and design principles.- Ability to analyze and improve designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.- Good communication and teamwork skills to work in a collaborative environment.,
