Deputy Regional Manager

Efficiently submit and manage new business requirements.

Oversee documentation management.

Coordinate with the sales team to gather and verify all necessary documentation for underwriting.

Analyze underwriting (UW) requirements by reviewing customer profiles and proposal details.

Collaborate with sales teams to address and fulfill UW requirements effectively.

Act as the primary point of contact for the sales team, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Prepare detailed case studies to negotiate unnecessary requirements with the UW team and expedite case issuance.

Ensure data integrity by accurately entering and updating information in the system within required timelines.

Independently resolve non-routine issues and escalate complex matters when necessary.

Work closely with managers, stakeholders, and the UW team to ensure new business cases are issued within the defined turnaround time (TAT).

Assist the sales team in completing risk questionnaires and explaining coverage terms.

Negotiate terms and conditions with the underwriting team to facilitate seamless case issuance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in life insurance underwriting or related roles.

Strong analytical skills for underwriting requirements and proposal analysis.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams and stakeholders.

Proficiency in data management and documentation processes.

Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
