Required Qualifications and Experiences:

• Required Education: B.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant Engineering disciplines
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience preferably from a reputed company
• Higher application of – ERP based soft, MS Excel, MS Word
• Skills of working in ERP based material management system
• Sound knowledge about the spare parts needed in an integrated cement plant.

JOB CONTEXT

SUMMARY OF THE JOB

Main purpose:

• Managing daily Purchase Receipt and inspection of all incoming stock, non-stock with purchase orders.
• SX-OX and duty receive of limestone
• Empty bag receive and issue and monitoring for smooth delivery.
• Liquid fuel receive and stock monitoring.
• Urgent sundry purchase to mitigate the need of production, maintenance and service.
• To manage and overall look after departmental support staffs for smooth operation of warehouse as a part of WMS.
• Disposing scrap through auction sale and earn 15 million per year.

Issues

• Prepare the inspection notes & arrange the goods for inspection.
• Maintain all records pertaining to receipts/partial receipts of goods under annual order i.e. incoming goods register etc
• Complete receipt formalities, prepare pre-GRN and final-GRN and handover the material to Issue section.
• For the smooth flow of raw materials (limestone), monitoring and receipt the limestone.
• Empty cement bag receipt and Issuing for the smart delivery.
• Looking after warehouse safety activities like toolbox talk, safety sub-committee inspection and implementation in department as well as different point of LHB plant.
• Workforce management in warehouse.
• Looking after scarp sale management, discipline scrap yard at designated area.
• Housekeeping and Safety of the area as area owner

a) Major results and/or performance levels

Quantitative:

• - Reduction of purchasing cycle time.
• - Receipt and issuance of empty bags to fulfil target.
• - Support Emergency purchase through patty cash.
• - Received limestone from India per year 5 million MT. including furnished LC documentation with proper way.

Qualitative:

• In time & efficient Purchase Receipt (15 days after inspection)
• In time issuance of empty cement bag.
• Urgent purchase to mitigate the need of various departments.
• Compliance to Lafarge Warehouse policy.
