About The Role

Deputy Manager

• Collaborate and be actively involved in all aspects of tax assignments, from planning to finalization.
• Manage and mentor 1–2 team members within the cluster.
• Review and manage U.S. tax returns and supporting work papers in accordance with U.S. tax law.
• Handle compliance for Partnerships (Form 1065).
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and drive change initiatives.
• Serve as the technical SME to ensure the quality and timeliness of all deliverables.
• Act as the first escalation point for staff and seniors on technical matters/queries.
• Manage engagement risk and contribute to proposals.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff during engagements.
• Support senior managers and managers in client delivery and team management.
• Evaluate staff performance for engagement reviews.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• Minimum 4+ years of progressive U.S./Global taxation experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Real Estate/REITs.
• Hands-on experience working directly with clients and/or global counterparts.
