Deputy Manager - Security

Purpose/Objective

The Site Security Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing security operations at a designated site, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and infrastructure. This role focuses on implementing security protocols, monitoring automated and physical security systems, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and responding to security incidents. The executive ensures compliance with security policies, conducts risk assessments, and supports investigations to enhance overall site security resilience.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Site Security Executive-NR Site Security Operations and Surveillance: Oversee daily security operations to ensure the protection of personnel, property, and assets. Monitor security systems including CCTV surveillance, access controls, and perimeter protection. Ensure the deployment and performance of security personnel as per site security protocols. Conduct site patrols and inspections to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. Incident Management and Emergency Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, breaches, and emergencies at the site. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response teams in case of security threats. Ensure proper incident documentation, investigation, and reporting to management. Implement and oversee site-level emergency preparedness drills and security response protocols. Risk Assessment and Threat Mitigation: Conduct regular security risk assessments and recommend corrective measures. Identify vulnerabilities in physical and automated security systems to enhance site protection. Develop and enforce site-specific security SOPs to mitigate potential threats. Work closely with corporate security and IT teams to enhance cybersecurity measures at the site. Compliance and Security Audits: Ensure adherence to company security policies, government regulations, and industry standards. Conduct internal security audits to assess compliance with safety and security protocols. Prepare audit reports and assist in implementing recommendations for continuous security improvements. Facilitate external security audits and ensure corrective actions are taken to meet compliance requirements. Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with site leadership, HR, and operations teams to align security operations with business needs. Manage vendor relationships for security service providers and technology partners. Ensure proper communication with local law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and external security agencies. Train site personnel on security awareness and conduct security drills to reinforce safety practices. Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field. Work Experience (Range of years): Work Experience (Range of Years): 5-7 years of experience in site security management, physical security operations, or law enforcement.
