Deputy Manager - Quality Assurance

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager – Quality Assurance to oversee and enhance the quality processes in our steel manufacturing operations. The candidate will ensure compliance with international quality standards, manage inspections, lead improvement initiatives, and supervise manpower to maintain high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control steel manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage and coordinate third-party inspections, ensuring timely completion and adherence to customer and regulatory requirements.
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System across operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with ASME Section IX standards related to welding and fabrication.
• Lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) initiatives and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve and prevent recurring quality issues.
• Supervise and guide manpower to ensure efficient workflow, task execution, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct or oversee ASNT NDT testing methods (UT, RT, MT, PT) to validate material integrity and process accuracy.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including quality reports, inspection records, SOPs, and related documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, maintenance, and design to resolve quality-related challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving overall product quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Production Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ASME Section IX, CAPA, RCA, and NDT methods.
• Hands-on experience in handling third-party inspections and managing manpower.
• Excellent documentation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
