Deputy Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: Manitou Equipment India in Greater Noida, UP, India will have an opening for an Deputy Manager - Industrial Engineering for Greater Noida facility. The prime responsibility of this position is to analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards. He will have a key role to play to ensure the safety of the workers, the quality of the product and the profitability of the company.

Specific responsibilities:

● Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.

● Preparing cost analyses and estimated production costs.

● Prepare a list of Tooling and Material Handling with time study and Line Balancing for New Product Development.

● Preparing the Time Plan and Cost Estimate for project and monitor the activities and expense accordingly.

● Generate the specification for new equipment, send inquiry, make comparative sheet, negotiation for purchase order, follow up for delivery and involved in commissioning and hand over.

● Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.

● Designing control systems to minimize costs and production issues.

● Developing design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.

● Training staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals.

● Generate the MIS (Monthly information Sheet) for management review.

Educational Qualification:

● Mechanical / Automobile Engineer – B.Tech / BE/Engineering Degree

● Exposure to the Construction/Agricultural/ Material Handling Vehicles industry Years of

Experience:

● 8 Years to 10 Years

Technical skills:

● Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards

● Strong communication and presentation skills.

● Troubleshooting skills

● Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Job Position Justification:

This position is required to create Layout Planning for New Product line as well for expansion of existing product line. Procuring new Advance Equipment for product line. Generating multiple Project time plan, Monitoring time plan and Monitoring expenses w.r.t. budget. This position will help to meet our growth plan and also needed to meet the New Product development time line. At present these services are outsourced and by fulfilling this position these outsourced services are not required.
