Deputy Manager - HR

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for mid-level and junior positions.

- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.

- Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and facilitate onboarding processes.

Employee Relations:

- Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and conflict resolution.

- Foster a positive work environment and promote open communication channels.

- Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends.

HR Operations:

- Oversee attendance, leave management, and payroll processing in coordination with the HR team.

- Ensure HRIS system is updated and accurate.

- Manage employee records and documentation.

Performance Management:

- Support the annual performance appraisal process.

- Coordinate with line managers to track goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.

Learning & Development:

- Identify training needs and coordinate internal/external training programs.

- Maintain records of training and development activities.

Compliance & Statutory:

- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).

- Liaise with government authorities for inspections and audits.

Employee Engagement:

- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, welfare activities, and events.

- Support CSR and organizational culture-building activities.

MIS & Reporting:

- Prepare and present regular HR reports and dashboards for management review.

- Analyze HR metrics for continuous improvement.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and statutory compliance.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS tools.

- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
