Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Deputy Manager – Finance to join our growing team in Bhopal. The role requires a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong technical knowledge, analytical ability, and a solution-oriented approach. You will be responsible for financial reporting, compliance, and providing insights that drive decision-making for business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing.
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with Direct & Indirect Taxes, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.
  • Manage statutory, tax, and internal audits, ensuring adherence to timelines.

Management Reporting

  • Preparation of MIS, variance analysis, and financial dashboards for leadership review.
  • Provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support in preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
  • Track performance against budgets and highlight variances.

Financial Controls

  • Implement strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards (AS & Ind AS).
  • Support process improvements and automation in finance operations.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience (CA freshers are welcome to apply)
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS) & Ind AS
  • Expertise in account finalization, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Sound understanding of tax and regulatory compliances
  • Advanced skills in MIS, variance analysis, and financial modeling
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, financial tools, and ERP systems (preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
