Job details Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India Job Category: Field Operations Job Number: WD30239228 Job Description Job Purpose: To manage and oversee commissioning activities for HVAC systems in compliance with project requirements, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Plan, manage, and execute commissioning activities for HVAC systems in line with project schedules and quality requirements. Ensure proper system testing, balancing, and optimization to meet design specifications and performance standards. Conduct functional and performance testing of HVAC equipment and systems. Supervise and guide the commissioning team, subcontractors, and technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients to address technical challenges and ensure alignment with project goals. Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, including pre-commissioning checklists, test results, and final reports. Ensure compliance with safety standards and documentation requirements. Identify and resolve system performance issues during commissioning. Ensure proper calibration and configuration of HVAC equipment. Validate system functionality and compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards. Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and expectations. Provide training and operational handover to clients/end-users. Stay updated on industry standards, emerging technologies, and best practices in HVAC commissioning. Conduct post-project reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and lessons learned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 9-10 years of experience in HVAC project commissioning, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and energy efficiency principles. Skills and Competencies: Expertise in HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning. Proficient in using HVAC testing and balancing tools. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations. Work Environment: Project-based work involving on-site commissioning activities. Interaction with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
