Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Drive branch revenue by identifying and onboarding new clients, including HNIs, retail investors, and corporate accounts.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed business goals.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, offering tailored investment solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and guide the team to pitch appropriate stock market products.
  • Organize investor education programs, seminars, and workshops to boost client acquisition.

Dealing & Client Management

  • Manage and execute trading transactions for clients across equity, derivatives, and other instruments.
  • Offer real-time market updates, insights, and investment advice to clients.
  • Ensure error-free and timely execution of orders while adhering to compliance norms.
  • Monitor clients' portfolios to assess performance and recommend modifications based on market conditions.

Back Office Operations

  • Supervise client onboarding processes, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
  • Oversee KYC compliance, fund transfers, margin management, and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure efficient reporting of daily activities such as P&L, trade confirmations, and risk management metrics.
  • Liaise with internal departments (compliance, finance, and IT) to address operational issues promptly.

Team Leadership & Branch Operations

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives, dealers, and back-office staff.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to upgrade team skills in sales, trading, and compliance.
  • Establish performance metrics and monitor the team’s progress toward achieving branch objectives.
  • Ensure the branch operates within SEBI, NSE/BSE, and internal company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with regional or head office for escalations, audits, and reporting.

Skills & Competencies

  • Domain Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of stock market instruments, trading platforms, and compliance norms.
  • Familiarity with trading software like ODIN, NOW, NEST, or similar tools.
  • Thorough understanding of SEBI and stock exchange guidelines.
  • Leadership Skills:
  • Ability to guide and manage multi-functional teams effectively.
  • Proven track record of meeting business targets while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills:
  • Strong decision-making abilities based on market analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Competence in MS Excel, reporting tools, and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with risk management tools and operational workflows.
