Data Verification Verify data by comparing it to source documents and correct any inaccuracies. Record Maintenance Maintain and update accounting records and files, ensuring all entries are documented correctly and filed appropriately. Reconciliation Assist in the reconciliation of accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Reporting Generate periodic financial reports and summaries as required by management. Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards. Communication Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and clarify discrepancies. Support Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including assisting with audits and preparing financial documentation. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Experience Proven experience as a data entry clerk, office assistant, or in a related role. Experience in an accounting or finance environment is a plus. Skills Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting software. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
