Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new customers for the bank's retail banking products and services, with a focus on household accounts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential customers through various channels such as referrals, cold calling, and networking
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customer segments and develop strategies to target them effectively
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by actively promoting and cross-selling the bank's products and services to potential customers
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer queries and concerns, and ensuring timely resolution of any issues
  • Collaborate with other departments within the bank to ensure a seamless customer experience and to identify opportunities for cross-selling
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position the bank's products and services in the market
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the bank's CRM system
  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines while carrying out job responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and relationship management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and networking abilities
  • Knowledge of retail banking products and services
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and MS Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
