Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Deputy Factory Manager to assist in the overall management of factory operations, with strong skills in interdepartmental coordination , administration , and production oversight . The candidate will support the Factory Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, maintain production efficiency, and optimize supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Factory Manager in day-to-day factory operations and administration. Coordinate closely with production , logistics , supply chain , and procurement departments to ensure smooth workflow. Supervise workforce allocation, production scheduling, and material planning. Monitor manufacturing KPIs to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Maintain discipline and operational efficiency across departments. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Support vendor coordination for timely availability of raw materials and components. Maintain stock levels and oversee inward/outward material movement. Manage documentation, reports, and audits relevant to factory administration. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations or factory administration. Hands-on knowledge of production planning, logistics, and procurement processes . Strong team coordination and leadership abilities. Proficient in MS Office and production tracking tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Candidates must be based in or around Howrah district , with ability to commute to Panchla, Uluberia II Block . Preferred Background: Experience in the solar PV , electronics , or renewable energy sector is a plus. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field. Working Conditions: Full-time, on-site position at Panchla, Howrah. 6-day working week.
