Reports to Head of Business Development Europe and India. No direct reportees.
Qualification
Post Graduate (Preferably MBA)
Experience
- Experience of 8 - 10 years in the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Previous experience of handling generic API business for Indian customers (regulated market segment).
Key Roles And Responsibilities.
- To draw up & achieve sales budget for India regulated market customers for Generic API products (more than 60 APIs).
- Key account management and efficient management of existing customer base & add new customers for territory expansion.
- Ability to expand the sales of existing products & also to create opportunities for new products offered.
- Sales Forecasting/Budgeting/ Long Range Planning/ Customer seeding will be integral to this role.
- Regular travel to meet customers through visits and trade show
Skills And Competencies
- Good hold on Excel & Power point
- Negotiation skills
- Basic understanding of R&D, regulatory and quality in the API industry.
- Ability to hold the conversation with customers and to make presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Ability to handle customers independently.
- Preferably worked on Salesforce.com
- Business growth mindset
