Job Description

As a Deputy Branch Manager in the Retail Banking business, your role involves managing and scaling up the retail banking business for the branch. You will execute strategies to achieve growth targets by efficiently managing operations and resources. Building constructive relationships with key local dealers is crucial to boost the volume of business by establishing a strong financial partnership. Your accountability includes expanding branch footprint, enhancing product penetration, and delivering high-quality customer service. In addition, you will lead customer service and branch operations, ensuring the daily upkeep of the branch. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for day-to-day operations and administration of the Branch, ensuring strict compliance with Bank's policies and procedures - Ensuring the best in class customer service - Managing and completing branch audit by external auditors - Resolving customer issues and queries promptly to ensure customer satisfaction - Creating action plans and strategies to drive profit through branch operations and cross-selling - Staying updated on products to provide suitable advice to customers - Ensuring smooth branch functioning and adherence to banking norms - Closing all observations in the audit report - Monitoring branch sales targets, acquiring new accounts, and expanding existing accounts by offering various financial products and services to customers Additional Company Details: - Ensure manpower planning, recruitment, and training processes for both on-roll and off-roll employees to maintain high-performing talent across levels - Providing training, coaching, development, and guidance to bring out the best in branch personnel - Evaluating the feasibility of new initiatives to improve overall operational efficiency - Creating an environment for the team to focus on automation and digital enablement to meet customer needs holistically - Attracting and retaining best-in-class talent to meet the Bank's rapid growth targets Key Success Metrics: - CA/SA and TD growth targets - Customer Acquisition targets - Product Cross-Sell targets Qualifications: - Graduate in any discipline - Post Graduate in MBA Finance Experience: - Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in Banking or allied Business - Industry experience in BFSI - Functional Area expertise in Retail Liabilities,
