Demand Planning and Supply Coordination Executive

We are seeking a demand planning and supply chain executive responsible for converting demand forecasts into actionable supply and inventory plans. It would involve demand analysis, production coordination, inventory tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely product availability while optimizing stock levels

Location: Gurgaon (India HO)

Role Objective

To support sales, logistics, and manufacturing by converting sales forecasts into practical, executable supply and inventory plans, ensuring timely availability of finished goods while optimizing stock levels

Roles and Responsibilities

Demand Planning Support

• Compile and consolidate sales forecasts on a monthly and rolling basis
• Analyze historical sales data to identify demand trends and seasonality
• Highlight forecast deviations and coordinate clarifications with the sales team

Supply & Production Coordination

• Translate demand forecasts into:
• Production requirements for third-party manufacturer
• Replenishment plans for traded products
• Coordinate with manufacturing partner on:

a. Production schedules

b. Lead times

c. Dispatch planning

• Monitor execution vs plan and flag risks in advance

Inventory & Stock Management

• Track inventory levels across:

a. Gurgaon warehouse

b. In-transit stock

• Support safety stock and reorder point calculations
• Assist in managing warehouse capacity and SKU-wise stock prioritization

Cross-functional Coordination

• Act as a coordination point between:

a. Sales

b. Logistics

c. Manufacturing

• Prepare basic weekly and monthly planning reports for management review

Data & Systems

• Maintain planning trackers and dashboards in Excel
• Ensure data accuracy related to:

a. Sales

b. Production

c. Inventory

• Support continuous improvement of planning templates and processes

Qualifications:

• MBA in Operations / Supply Chain / Analytics
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in:

a. Demand planning

b. Supply coordination

c. Inventory planning

• Experience in ingredients, FMCG, pharma, feed, or chemicals preferred

Skills & Attributes

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic forecasting)
• Structured thinking and attention to detail
• Clear communication and coordination ability
• Comfortable working with imperfect data and tight timelines
