Job Description

The position is based in Bangalore and requires working in the US time zone (Night Shift). As an Event Specialist at Pibit.ai, a Y Combinator backed Insurtech company, you will be responsible for driving demand, generating leads, and managing event-led marketing campaigns. You will play a pivotal role in organizing and executing micro-events such as dinners, networking meetups, and conference booths. Additionally, you will support pre-event outreach, post-event lead nurturing, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams. Your responsibilities will include managing logistics, vendor contracts, giveaways, venue coordination, on-site execution, smooth check-ins, guest engagement, and on-site branding. You will also work on outbound lead generation through cold email campaigns, follow-ups, and qualification of leads generated from events. Collaborating with SDRs and founders, you will align outreach with sales goals and manage relationships with event organizers, media partners, and vendors. Negotiating for booths, tables, signage, and joint promotions will be part of your duties, along with tracking budgets, invoices, and ROI from event spend. You will use CRM and event tech tools to track attendee behavior, analyze lead quality, and report on the success of campaigns. The ideal candidate will have 12 years of experience in business development, event marketing, or sales support roles. Prior experience in cold calling, email campaigns, or CRM tools is advantageous. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to work in the US time zone (night shift) are essential. A fast learner, self-starter, and proactive approach to tasks are desired qualities.
