Role Overview:

We are seeking a Delivery Manager – API & Integration Projects with strong experience in leading technical delivery within the insurance domain, specifically across API development and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical expertise, proven experience managing Agile/SCRUM-based projects, and the ability to lead teams delivering complex, large-scale transformation programs for enterprise clients, including banks and insurance providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Delivery Ownership: Lead end-to-end delivery of API and integration projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes, adherence to timelines, and alignment with client expectations.
• Technical Oversight: Provide architectural direction and technical leadership in .NET Core, REST APIs, Azure cloud deployment, and microservices-based solutions.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of developers and leads, driving engineering excellence, code quality, and continuous improvement.
• Client Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and client technical teams; ensure clear communication and transparent progress reporting.
• Agile Project Management: Drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and delivery tracking under Agile/SCRUM methodology.
• Governance & Best Practices: Establish and maintain API strategy, governance, and standard frameworks for development, documentation, and security.
• Performance & Quality Assurance: Oversee implementation of test automation, static code analysis (SonarQube, Veracode), and performance testing (JMeter).
• Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), and cloud deployments on Azure or AWS.
• Innovation & Modernization: Lead modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy applications to REST-based microservices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years in software development, with at least 2+ years in a delivery or technical leadership role.
• Strong background in .NET Core, Web API, REST API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Azure (App Gateway, APIM), containerization (Docker), and cloud-native deployments.
• Proven experience implementing API security (OAuth/JWE) and resiliency frameworks (Resilience4j or equivalent).
• Familiarity with insurance and/or banking domain systems and integrations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitLab).
• Strong understanding of API strategy, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and oversee fixes using tools like JMeter.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience in responsive web application development for mobile/tablet devices.
• Exposure to OpenStack or hybrid cloud environments.
• Certifications in Agile Delivery, Azure Cloud, or API Management are advantageous.
