Job Description

We are looking for a skilled DCDP - Indian Curry with 3-5 years of experience to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and preparing Indian cuisine, particularly curries.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare and cook high-quality Indian curries to the highest standards of culinary excellence.
Develop and implement new recipes and menus to keep up with current trends and customer preferences.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food production.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer requests and resolving any issues.
Participate in menu costing and inventory management to optimize resources.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie (CDP) or similar role in an Indian restaurant or hotel.
Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including curries, biryanis, and tandoor items.
Excellent cooking skills, with the ability to prepare complex dishes consistently.
Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, stoves, and refrigerators.
