Job Description

Job Title: Database Tester

Experience: 4–8 Years

Location: Bangalore / Gurgaon

Budget: Up to 11 LPA

Immediate Joiner

Database Tester

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test cases for database testing and backend validation.
Write and optimize complex
SQL queries
for data validation, integrity checks, and performance testing.
Perform end-to-end database testing including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and data migration validation.
Work with
Selenium automation
for functional and regression testing of database-driven applications.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure test coverage.
Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
Conduct performance and load testing for database systems.
Ensure compliance with data quality standards and best practices.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with
SQL
(queries, joins, stored procedures, triggers).
Experience in
Selenium automation
testing.
Expertise in database testing, data validation, and ETL testing.
Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).
Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of
automation frameworks
(TestNG, JUnit, Maven).
Experience with
API testing
(Postman/RestAssured).
Exposure to
Agile/Scrum
methodologies.
Familiarity with
Big Data testing
or cloud databases (AWS/Azure).
