You are an experienced Database Tester with 48 years of experience, proficient in SQL and Selenium. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy, performance, and reliability of database systems and applications. You should excel in writing complex SQL queries, validating data integrity, and automating test cases. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing test cases for database testing and backend validation. You will be required to write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation, integrity checks, and performance testing. Additionally, you will conduct end-to-end database testing, work with Selenium automation for functional and regression testing, and collaborate with different teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Furthermore, you must identify, report, and track defects, ensuring their timely resolution. Performance and load testing for database systems will also fall under your purview. It is crucial to maintain compliance with data quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process. Your must-have skills include strong hands-on experience with SQL, expertise in Selenium automation testing, proficiency in database testing, data validation, and ETL testing, as well as a solid understanding of RDBMS concepts such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Strong debugging and analytical skills are essential for this role. Additionally, it would be beneficial if you possess knowledge of automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Maven, experience with API testing tools like Postman/RestAssured, exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies, and familiarity with Big Data testing or cloud databases such as AWS/Azure.,
