Job Description

As a Database Tester at Cognizant Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for conducting database testing with a focus on advance SQL. Your key responsibilities will include: - Having more than 3 years of experience in Database Testing, specifically in SQL, with a strong understanding of join operations and complex queries. - Demonstrating a high level of expertise in the Testing domain. - Proficiency in advance SQL, including the ability to write stored procedures and complex queries. - Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies. - Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Rally for test case management, execution, and reporting. - Ability to work independently, multitask effectively, and implement tasks with minimal dependency on others. - Possessing clear and effective communication skills to collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and report issues. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3 to 10 years of experience in Database Testing. - Hands-on experience in SQL is preferred. - Strong understanding of advance SQL concepts. - Knowledge of STLC and Agile methodologies. - Familiarity with tools like Jira and Rally.
