Job Description

Job Title : Database Administrator

Job Location : Chennai (Onsite)

Timing : 9AM - 6PM

Experience : 3 - 9 years

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days

Role Description & Experience :

• 3+ years of relevant experience

• Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL database architectures that meet business

requirements and performance standards

• Manage database security including user access controls, permissions, and authentication

mechanisms

• Implement and manage high availability solutions through replication, clustering, and failover

strategies

• Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies to improve query execution times

• Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business

continuity

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues with minimal downtime

• Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patch management

• Establish and enforce database standards, procedures, and best practices

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and query performance

• Implement automation solutions for routine database administration tasks

• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements

• Document database configurations, procedures, and infrastructure changes

• This role requires exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and the

capacity to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.

• The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive customer success.
