Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Data Science Trainer/Faculty to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, curriculum development, and mentorship in data science and related disciplines. You will play a key role in preparing students for careers in data science, analytics, artificial intelligence, and related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Training

Deliver lectures, workshops, and hands-on lab sessions in topics such as:
- Python for Data Science
- Statistics & Probability
- Machine Learning & Deep Learning
- Data Visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib)
- Big Data Technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Databases and SQL
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- AI/ML Frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Create and maintain course materials including syllabus, lecture notes, assignments, and exams.
Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse student learning styles and levels.
Guide and mentor students on capstone projects, internships, and research work.

Curriculum & Content Development

Assist in designing and updating data science curricula aligned with current industry trends and academic standards.
Collaborate with academic and industry experts to ensure relevance and rigor in course content.

Student Engagement & Mentorship

Provide academic and career guidance to students.
Encourage and support student participation in hackathons, competitions, and research publications.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

Administrative & Departmental Activities

Participate in faculty meetings, departmental planning, and accreditation processes.
Assist in student admissions, academic audits, and outreach activities if required.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., Microsoft Data Science, Google ML, AWS ML, IBM Data Science) are a plus.

Experience:

Minimum [2-5] years of teaching/training experience in data science or relevant domains.
Industry experience in a data-driven role (e.g., Data Scientist, Data Analyst, ML Engineer) is highly desirable.

Required Skills:

Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and relevant data science libraries and tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Preferred Attributes:

Demonstrated record of research/publications in data science or related areas.
Experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
Ability to foster a collaborative learning environment.
