About The Role : for Data Monetization Product Manager - Manager (Level 6) Position Title:Data Monetization Product Manager Location:Bangalore/Gurgaon/Mumbai Employment Type:Full Time Must have skills Data Monetization, Data Product Management Good to have skills Data Governance, Data Product Build, Stakeholder Engagement, Business Case Development, Go-to-Market Strategy Job Summary As a Data Monetization Product Manager, you will spearhead the end-to-end development of data products designed to unlock revenue opportunities. From ideation and prioritization to prototype build and go-to-market strategy, your role is to ensure that data assets are leveraged effectively and in compliance with governance policies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams"including legal, technical, and business stakeholders"to define success criteria, expand data usage rights, and bring compelling data offerings to market. Roles Responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement Requirements Definition a. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), data owners, and internal product owners to gather insights on potential use cases and monetization strategies. b. Define clear requirements, objectives, and success metrics for a demoable monetization prototype that aligns with overall business goals. Use Case Asset Evaluation a. Identify and assess high-potential data assets for monetization, balancing strategic relevance with feasibility and compliance considerations. b. Prioritize use cases based on market trends, revenue potential, and organizational readiness. Data Usage Rights Governance Alignment a. Work closely with permissibility standards resources and data governance teams to push for expanded usage rights. b. Ensure all data product development adheres to ADGO governance policies and procedures, including ingestion into catalogs, data quality rules, and access controls. Product Development Prototyping a. Lead a dedicated "pod" of build resources (developers, data engineers, etc.) to design and develop prototype data products. b. Oversee product milestones, sprint planning, and iterative testing to validate features against user and market requirements. 5. Go-to-Market Strategy Execution a. Partner with GTM teams to define pricing models, positioning, and promotional tactics for new data offerings. b. Develop business cases, pitch decks, and other materials to communicate product value to internal and external audiences. Executive Reporting Advocacy a. Present project updates, key milestones, and strategic recommendations to leadership, securing necessary buy-in and resources. b. Advocate for continuous improvement, soliciting feedback to refine product roadmaps and drive adoption. Professional Technical Skills Revenue-Generating Expertise a. Proven track record of identifying and executing data-driven opportunities that result in measurable revenue growth. b. Familiarity with market analysis, forecasting, and ROI modeling for data-centric products. Stakeholder Management Negotiation a. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to align various internal and external partners around shared objectives. b. Skilled at balancing competing interests, setting expectations, and steering negotiations toward mutually beneficial outcomes. Data Governance Compliance Know-How a. Solid understanding of data privacy regulations, consent management, and best practices in data governance. b. Ability to implement governance requirements seamlessly into product development processes. Entrepreneurial Agile Mindset a. Comfortable iterating on product features, pivoting direction based on market feedback, and running lean experiments. b. Experience working in agile or fast-paced environments where rapid prototyping and continuous iteration are standard. 5. Strategic Communication Business Impact a. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions for diverse audiences. b. Expertise in crafting presentations and narratives that resonate with leaders, driving alignment and investment in data monetization initiatives. Qualifications Experience 12+ years in data product management, business development, and GTM planning around data monetization initiatives Educational Qualification Bachelors or Masters in Business, Information Systems, or related fields
