What You’ll Do:

• Lead Data Governance Initiatives:

  Design, implement, and institutionalize data governance frameworks, policies, and processes across business units.

• Facilitate Business Workshops:

  Conduct business workshops with enterprise clients to define governance objectives, roles, and ownership models.

• Establish Governance Council:

  Help set up and formalize the Data Governance Council — document charters, roles, responsibilities, and governance operating models.

• Collaborate with Technical Teams:

  Work with data engineering, architecture, and security teams to implement governance controls using platforms such as

  Microsoft Purview

  ,

  Databricks Unity Catalog

  , and

  Informatica

  .

• Drive AI Governance:

  Implement and monitor AI governance principles ensuring compliance, ethical AI use, and adherence to organizational policies.

• Business Alignment:

  Understand diverse business domains —

  Real Estate, Retail, E-Commerce, Investment Holding, Hospitality & Entertainment, and Government Entities

  — to align governance frameworks with business priorities.

• Compliance & Security:

  Ensure all governance processes align with

  Microsoft Security and Compliance Frameworks

  , regulatory standards, and enterprise risk guidelines.

• Stakeholder Management:

  Partner with senior business leaders, data owners, and IT teams to drive governance adoption and maturity.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong experience in

  Data Governance

  ,

  Data Management

  , or

  Information Governance

  within enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to

  conduct governance business workshops

  and translate outcomes into actionable governance models.
• Experience in

  establishing and operationalizing governance councils

  and defining data ownership structures.
• Hands-on exposure to governance tools and technologies such as

  Microsoft Purview

  ,

  Databricks Unity Catalog

  , and

  Informatica

  .
• Deep understanding of

  Microsoft’s Security and Compliance Framework

  and its relevance to data governance.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated experience working across multiple industries such as

  Real Estate, Retail, ECommerce, Investment, Hospitality, and Government

  .
• Minimum

  1 year of experience in AI Governance

  —understanding how governance principles extend to AI/ML models, data lineage, and responsible AI practices.
• Ability to bridge functional and technical aspects of governance and influence cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8–12 years of total experience with at least 4–5 years in Data Governance.
• Certifications in

  Data Governance, Data Management (DAMA, DCAM, CDMP)

  , or

  Microsoft Data/AI certifications

  are an advantage.
• Experience working with

  cloud ecosystems

  , preferably

  Microsoft Azure

  .
• Excellent presentation and client engagement skills.
