About the Role

Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize

  SQL Server databases

  , including complex

  T-SQL stored procedures

  , views, functions, and indexing strategies.
• Build and maintain

  ETL processes

  to integrate data from multiple sources into the enterprise data warehouse.
• Develop and maintain

  SSRS reports

  and dashboards to deliver timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business teams to

  analyze large datasets

  and provide actionable insights through ad-hoc queries and visualizations.
• Ensure

  data quality, consistency, and integrity

  across all systems.
• Partner with IT and business teams to define data requirements, deliver solutions, and support ongoing analytics needs.
• Implement

  performance tuning

  and optimization for queries and reports.
• Assist in the migration and modernization of data infrastructure to cloud platforms such as

  Azure

  .

Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, database development, or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in

  SQL Server (2016 or later)

  ,

  T-SQL

  , and stored procedure development.
• Proven experience designing and deploying

  SSRS reports

  for enterprise use.
• Experience with

  data analysis techniques

  and translating findings into business recommendations.
• Strong understanding of

  ETL processes, data warehousing, and relational database design

• Proficiency in

  Python

  or other scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
• Hands-on experience with

  Microsoft Azure (Databricks, Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with

  Tableau, Power BI or other visualization tools
