Job Description

Role Overview

Digital Transformation Manager / Consultant


Open to travel to South Africa . Short to long term.



Key Responsibilities

  • Bridge IT and Business:

    Serve as a trusted consultant to analyze business challenges beyond technology and provide strategic solutions.

  • Develop Digital Roadmaps:

    Define the “Vision and Strategy” leading to a global value-generation roadmap.

  • Collaborate and Co-Create:

    Work with functional teams, technology experts, and sector specialists to design tailored digital solutions.

  • Process & Requirement Mapping:

    Build end-to-end process maps, data flow diagrams, and documentation. Lead requirement-gathering sessions, Fit/Gap analyses, testing, and deployments.

  • Technology Integration:

    Oversee implementation of new tools, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.

  • Customer Experience Focus:

    Enhance user experience through adoption of digital tools and practices.

  • Leverage Ecosystem:

    Utilize tools, processes, and accelerators (e.g., Salesforce) by actively engaging with broader digital ecosystems.

  • Change Enablement:

    Drive training, coaching, and internal capability-building for digital transformation initiatives.


Desired Qualifications

  • 8–12 years’ experience in consulting, IT strategy, corporate strategy, business intelligence, or product/line management.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant specialization (preferred).
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred).
  • Proven expertise in Supply Chain, Retail, Finance, Manufacturing, or Banking.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering Lean or Digital Transformation programs at leading organizations.
  • Strong ability to create innovative business solutions and deliver tangible results.
