Data Consultant

At Infosys consulting, we are seeking for data consultants with 3 to 10 years’ experience in Data Management with a strong background in Data Governance, Data Quality, and hands-on experience with market-leading tools and platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data management & governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and enabling trusted data for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.

Define and manage data quality rules, metrics, and monitoring processes.

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data stewardship and ownership.

Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment activities.

Implement and manage metadata management and data lineage solutions.

Work with tools such as Collibra, Ataccama, Informatica, Alation, Talend, Microsoft Purview, or equivalent.

Drive data cataloging and classification efforts across enterprise data assets.

Provide insights and recommendations for data issue resolution and root cause analysis.

Contribute to data strategy and architecture discussions.

Required Skills & Experience:

3–10 years of experience in Data Management, with a focus on Data Governance and Data Quality.

Hands-on experience with one or more data governance/data quality tools (e.g., Collibra, Ataccama, Informatica, Talend, Alation, Microsoft Purview).

Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data stewardship.

Experience in data profiling, cleansing, and quality monitoring.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and data privacy standards.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive data initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in data governance or data quality tools/platforms.

Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM).

Exposure to AI/ML and usage in data management.

Experience in Life Sciences (Pharma, MedTech).
