Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining the Managed Investment Data Team as a Data Consultant in the alternative sector at Morningstar. Your main responsibility will be to drive Morningstar funds data coverage by collaborating with global and local teams, maintaining relationships with asset managers, and representing the voice of the local market to the central teams. You will act as the primary contact between the centralized data team and asset managers. Key Responsibilities: - Represent and explain Data workflows, processes, and methodologies to asset managers and clients. - Take ownership of acquiring and onboarding new and complex data sets to enhance analytics delivered to clients. - Collaborate with Data & Development Centres and global teams to align priorities based on local business requirements. - Manage projects focused on improving the database to meet industry and client needs, including business analysis and data collection planning. Qualifications Required: - Solid understanding of the investment management industry and a passion for investment data. - Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. - Expertise in investment data points, processes, methodologies, calculations, and fund structures is a plus. - Previous experience in project management and relationship management is highly preferred. - Experience in data methodology/quality and processes is preferred.
