Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily data center backup operations and ensure backup completion & data integrity.
  • Administer backup solutions (e.g., Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, Veeam, EMC Networker, etc.).
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery and data retention policies.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot backup failures, restore requests, and data replication issues.
  • Manage user access control, firewalls, and endpoint security systems.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and network teams for data security and compliance.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and patch management.
  • Document configuration changes, incidents, and recovery activities.
  • Maintain compliance with IT security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
  • Provide 24x7 support for critical data center operations (as per roster).


Technical Skills Required

  • Backup tools:

    Veeam / Commvault / Veritas / EMC Networker / NetApp / Acronis

  • Security tools: SIEM (Splunk / QRadar), Endpoint Security, Antivirus, DLP, Firewall

  • Operating Systems: Windows Server / Linux / VMware environment

  • Networking: TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPN, VLANs, IDS/IPS

  • Scripting (preferred): PowerShell / Bash / Python (basic)

  • Knowledge of disaster recovery
