Data Analyst - Contract - India - 1st July Start Date Competitive Day Rate ($) on offer Hybrid or Remote working Paritas is working with a leading IT Consultancy who are looking to add multiple Data Analyst's to their team in India. We are now looking for a Data Analyst to join our dynamic team and support the delivery of actionable insights across a range of client engagements. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand data requirements and business objectives Extract, clean, and validate data from a variety of sources (SQL, APIs, Excel, cloud databases) Perform in-depth analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights Build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI , Tableau , or Looker Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders Work with data engineers and developers to support data pipeline design and optimisation Participate in client workshops, presentations, and ongoing project reviews Maintain data quality standards and support data governance initiatives Requirements Experience in a Data Analyst role (ideally within consultancy or client-facing environments) Proficient in SQL , Excel, and at least one visualisation tool (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders Understanding of data modelling and basic statistics Comfortable working in Agile project environments Nice to Have Python or R for data analysis and automation Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, BigQuery) Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, or APIs Experience working across sectors like finance, retail, energy, or public sector Show more Show less
