Role Overview: The Data Analyst at Ingram Micro Pvt Ltd will be responsible for analysing complex datasets to help drive key business decisions. The role requires expertise in SPSS to handle and analyse large sets of structured and unstructured data. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of statistical methodologies, and experience in presenting actionable insights to various business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection & Management: Gather and maintain datasets from various sources (internal databases, external data sources, etc.). Clean, preprocess, and ensure data integrity using SPSS and other data management tools. Statistical Analysis: Utilize SPSS to perform statistical analyses, including but not limited to descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, ANOVA, factor analysis, and time series analysis. Interpret complex data patterns and provide insights into business performance. Reporting & Visualization: Develop and generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to management and other departments. Present findings in a clear and concise manner, providing actionable recommendations. Predictive Analytics: Build and implement predictive models using SPSS to forecast business trends and customer behavior. Collaborate with business teams to refine models and optimize predictions. Data Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability. Implement processes to standardize data entry and improve overall data quality. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and align analytical efforts with business objectives. Participate in meetings with stakeholders to define data requirements and support decision-making processes. Documentation & Training: Maintain documentation of data sources, analysis procedures, and model-building processes. Provide training to junior analysts or business teams on the use of SPSS and data analysis techniques.
