Role Description

SkillzenLoop is seeking a data-driven Data Analyst Intern specializing in Excel and Power BI. In this role, you will bridge the gap between raw numbers and business strategy. You will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into intuitive, interactive dashboards that help our leadership team make informed decisions. This is a highly practical role focused on data storytelling and business intelligence.

Primary Responsibilities

• Data Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to track business KPIs.

• Advanced Data Modeling: Use Excel (Power Query and Power Pivot) to clean, transform, and model data from multiple sources.

• DAX & Formulas: Write and optimize DAX queries in Power BI and complex formulas in Excel to extract meaningful metrics.

• Insight Generation: Analyze trends and patterns in data to provide actionable recommendations to the product and operations teams.

• Data Integrity: Perform regular data quality audits to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all reporting outputs.

Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.

• Excel Expertise: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and advanced charting).

• Power BI Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of Power BI Desktop, including data connectivity, visualization best practices, and basic DAX.

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to simplify complex data and present it in a way that is easy for non-technical stakeholders to understand.

• Detail Oriented: A meticulous approach to data validation to ensure "single source of truth" reporting.
