Dark Store Manager

JOB SUMMARY
The Dark Store Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the dark store facility, ensuring efficient and effective operations from inventory management to last-mile delivery coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong backgroundin retail or warehouse management, with a passion for technology and excellence infast-paced environments.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOperations Management: - Oversee all daily operations of the dark store including
inventory receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch - Ensure optimal storeperformance with focus on speed, accuracy, and quality - Coordinate with motherwarehouse for inventory replenishment and stock management - Implement andmaintain standard operating procedures for all processesTeam Leadership & Management: - Recruit, train, and manage a team of dark store helpers and support staff - Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations - Foster a positive, productive, and safety-conscious
work environment - Develop team capabilities through training and skill development programsInventory & Quality Control: - Implement robust inventory management systems to
ensure optimal stock levels - Conduct regular stock audits and maintain inventory accuracy above 98% - Minimize waste and maintain product quality standards -Manage perishable and non-perishable inventory with appropriate storage conditions

Performance & Analytics: - Monitor key performance indicators including order
fulfillment time, delivery accuracy, and customer satisfaction - Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities - Implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs - Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management

Technology & Systems: - Utilize company technology platforms for order
management, inventory tracking, and operations optimization - Provide feedback totechnology teams for system improvements - Ensure all team members are proficientin using operational systems and toolsCompliance & Safety: - Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory
requirements - Maintain clean, organized, and safe working environment - Implementand monitor safety protocols and emergency procedures

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Experience: - 3-5 years of experience in retail management, warehouse management, or similar role in e-commerce/logistics industry - Experience in quick commerce or dark store environment is highly preferred - Proven track record of managing teams and achieving operational targets Education: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field - Additional certifications in warehouse management or logistics are advantageous Skills & Competencies: - Strong leadership and team management capabilities - Excellent organizational and time-management abilities - Proficient in inventory management software and systems - Data-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environment - Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements

Pay: From ₹500,000.00 per year
