Job Description

We are looking for a senior, hands-on professional to manage and scale a large dairy farm with multiple revenue verticals. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for dairy operations, milk value-added products, vermicompost business, breed sales, and overall farm productivity.

This is a business ownership role, not a routine farm supervisor position.

Role & responsibilities

Milk Processing & Value-Added Products

Manage milk handling and ghee manufacturing
Improve fat recovery, yield efficiency, and quality consistency
Oversee packaging, labelling, and basic FSSAI compliance
Develop sales channels for milk and ghee products

Vermicompost Business

Set up, operate, and scale vermicompost production
Plan packaging (retail & bulk) and inventory
Develop sales channels (farmers, nurseries, FPOs, institutions)
Drive sales execution and revenue growth

Breed & Animal Sales

Identify saleable animals based on yield, pedigree, and age
Build buyer network for indigenous breeds
Price and plan animal sales without impacting core productivity

Business & Cost Control

Track costs, margins, and profitability across verticals
Prepare basic MIS and operational reports
Drive operational profitability and efficiency improvements

Preferred candidate profile

8 to 15 years experience in dairy, livestock, or agri-based businesses
Strong hands-on exposure to dairy operations and processing
Experience in ghee, compost, or allied agri products preferred
Commercial mindset with execution focus
Comfortable working in a farm-based environment
Ability to independently manage operations and revenue

Compensation
