Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Expert with 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting systems, networks, and data against security breaches and cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and DLP systems.
Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures.
Perform risk analysis and recommend mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Lead or assist in internal and external security audits.
Provide cybersecurity training and awareness to staff.
Analyze and report on security metrics and incident trends.
Collaborate with IT teams to secure system architecture and deployments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
Strong knowledge of network security, system hardening, and endpoint security.
Proficiency in security tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit, Splunk, etc.
Experience with SIEM solutions and incident response processes.
Good understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications (any of the following):

CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
CompTIA Security+
OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
