Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Specialist with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Prisma and Palo Alto Prisma ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. This role involves day shifts with no travel requirements focusing on enhancing our cybersecurity measures and protecting our digital assets.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage security measures for the protection of computer systems and networks.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts using Prisma and Palo Alto Prisma.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all systems and applications.
Develop and maintain security policies procedures and documentation.
Provide guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
Analyze security breaches to determine their root cause and implement corrective actions.
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats to proactively address potential risks.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cybersecurity.
Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools to enhance our security posture.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
Report on security metrics and performance to management regularly.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Demonstrate expertise in using Prisma and Palo Alto Prisma for security management.
Have experience in conducting security audits and assessments.
Show proficiency in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Display strong communication skills to effectively train and guide staff.
Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.

Certifications Required

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
