Role Description

This is a hybrid role for a Cyber Security Specialist based in the Bengaluru, with occasional opportunities for remote work. The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for safeguarding the organization's digital assets by identifying and mitigating security threats and vulnerabilities. Key tasks include monitoring network activities, responding to security incidents, conducting security assessments, and implementing advanced security measures. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of network security, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessments.
• Proficiency with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
• Experience in monitoring systems, incident response, and implementing security measures.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Analytical thinking with problem-solving skills to identify and address security challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while ensuring attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus.
