Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Cyber Security Instructor. The Cyber Security Instructor will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging cybersecurity curricula, assessing learner progress, providing feedback, and supporting students in their career development. The instructor will also stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies and may be involved in mentoring students during internships and real-world projects.

🔹 Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field

  (Master’s is a plus).
• 3+ years professional experience in

  Cybersecurity roles

  (e.g., SOC Analyst, Security Engineer, Penetration Tester, Incident Responder).
• Strong technical expertise in:
• SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK, QRadar, etc.)
• Vulnerability scanning & penetration testing (Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite)
• Cloud security tools (AWS/Azure security, IAM)
• Endpoint & network defense solutions
• Relevant industry certifications strongly preferred:

  CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CCSP

• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Develop and update curriculum, labs, and projects aligned with

• Train learners in areas such as:
• Network Security & Firewalls
• Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing
• Cloud Security
• Incident Response & Threat Analysis
• Security Compliance & Risk Management
• Mentor and support students in hands-on labs, case studies, and certification preparation (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP).
• Continuously integrate the

  latest security threats, tools, and solutions

  into teaching.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
