Summary

Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems from unauthorized access, breaches, and other security threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and security event information to detect and respond to potential security incidents in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats to proactively identify potential risks and recommend appropriate security controls.
• Provide guidance and support to IT teams and end-users on security-related issues, including security awareness training and incident response procedures.
• Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the organization's ability to recover from security incidents.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols, technologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus.
