As part of our commitment to secure innovation, we are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to strengthen our security posture. This individual will lead cybersecurity architecture reviews, assess risk exposure, and collaborate with business and application teams to implement secure IT solutions across the organization. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and own the Cyber Security Architecture portfolio—review new application and system integrations from a security standpoint and provide expert recommendations. Drive organization-wide DevSecOps and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices. Ensure visibility of application and infrastructure risks from an architecture and integration security perspective. Provide risk qualification and management strategies in collaboration with Business Functions and Application Teams. Handle and protect confidential and business-critical security information across global business operations. Support, guide, and coach project teams in designing and delivering IT solutions with built-in security. Translate business requirements into secure IT architectures and technical solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders and project owners to implement security controls aligned with business processes and application architecture. Minimum Qualifications10+ years of experience in technical and security architecture, with strong expertise in application security, infrastructure security, and security integration. Hands-on experience with security domains such as: Application Security Architecture Identity and Access Management (IAM) Threat Modeling and Breach Investigations Vulnerability Management Security Governance and Compliance Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and secure design principles. Strong experience working with DevSecOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and SDLC processes. Relevant certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISM, SANS GIAC, or security courses from edX or other reputable platforms. Soft Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities in complex, fast-paced environments. Highly self-driven, structured, and committed to delivering high-quality results. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business functions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory); Japanese proficiency is a plus. Collaborative mindset and service-oriented approach to supporting cross-functional initiatives. Flexibility and willingness to continuously learn emerging technologies and security trends. EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
