Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and batch processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Build and maintain custom components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow Builder.
• Manage and optimize large-scale data flows between CRM platforms and data warehouses (e.g., Redshift).
• Ensure secure and compliant data transfer using encryption, RBAC, and enterprise security best practices.
• Automate tasks and backend processes using Python, Node.js, or other scripting languages.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, system syncs, and error handling processes.
• Partner with business and technical teams to support CRM-related reporting needs using BI tools like Tableau or QuickSight.
• Maintain documentation for integration flows, architecture, and operational procedures.
• Stay current with CRM platform updates, industry best practices, and emerging integration technologies.

Required Skills:

• Salesforce Expertise – 5+ years hands-on development in Apex, Lightning (Aura/LWC), Flow Builder, and REST/SOAP integrations; certified Platform Developer I (PD1) or how to develop for managed package or batch.
• Programming & Scripting – Strong object-oriented skills plus Python or Node.js for task automation; solid Linux command-line proficiency.
• SQL Mastery – Ability to write complex joins, window functions, and optimization techniques across relational databases.
• Web Development – Modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3; familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite).
• Enterprise Integration Patterns – Experience with message queues, bulk/batch APIs, change-data-capture, and error-resilient pipelines.
• Security & Compliance – Knowledge of data privacy, encryption-at-rest/in-transit, and role-based access controls in enterprise settings.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other CRM platforms.
• AWS services exposure (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, Step Functions).
• Familiarity with Tableau, QuickSight, or similar BI tools for downstream reporting.
• Prior work with construction, real-estate, or B2B data products.
• Salesforce certifications: Integration Architect, Platform Developer II, or Application Architect.
