Credit Controller

We are looking for a diligent and proactive Credit Controller to manage and monitor our receivables portfolio. The ideal candidate will ensure timely collection of dues, maintain healthy customer relationships, and support the finance team in controlling credit risk while enabling business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end credit control function for assigned customers (hotels, restaurants, hospitals, etc.).
• Evaluate and recommend credit limits for new and existing customers in coordination with Sales and Management.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and ageing reports on a regular basis.
• Ensure timely collection of payments as per agreed credit terms.
• Follow up with customers via phone, email, and visits (where required) for payment reminders and clarifications.
• Resolve billing disputes, short payments, and deduction issues in coordination with Accounts and Sales teams.
• Prepare and share periodic MIS reports on receivables, ageing, overdues, and collection performance.
• Highlight high-risk accounts and recommend corrective actions (hold supply, revised terms, etc.).
• Reconcile customer ledgers and ensure accuracy of entries in the books of accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables.
• Maintain proper documentation of credit approvals, agreements, and customer communication.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in credit control / receivables / collections, preferably in distribution, FMCG, or food service industry.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting and credit management principles.
• Experience working with ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.

Pay: ₹9,230.00 - ₹21,222.00 per month
