Counsellor

Job Summary:The Admissions Counsellor will be the first point of contact for prospective parents and students. The role involves guiding families through the admissions process, building strong relationships, ensuring a smooth and positive enrolment experience, and supporting the school’s vision of delivering quality education. Key Responsibilities:Handle admission inquiries through walk-ins, calls, emails, and online platforms. Provide detailed information about the school’s curriculum, teaching methodology, facilities, and policies. Conduct school tours and counselling sessions for prospective parents and students. Maintain and update admission records and leads using CRM or manual tracking systems. Follow up with prospective parents to convert inquiries into admissions. Collaborate with the marketing team for admission campaigns, open houses, and school events. Coordinate with the academic and administration teams for smooth onboarding of new students. Prepare weekly and monthly admission reports for management review. Stay updated with current educational trends and competitors’ offerings. Ensure that every parent interaction reflects the school’s values and professionalism. Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree (Education, Marketing, or related field preferred). Minimum 2–3 years of experience in school admissions or customer service roles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English fluency required; additional languages a plus). Strong sales and persuasion skills with a customer-centric approach. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
