Marketing Asst. Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Asst. Manager to join our growing team in the manufacturing sector, with a focus on Power, Renewables, and Automotive domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible not only for driving revenue and building customer relationships but also for managing RFQs, developing cost models, aligning with engineering teams on technical matters , and ensuring timely follow-ups to maximize RFQ conversions. This is a cross-functional role that requires strong commercial acumen, technical understanding, and exceptional communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage and respond to RFQs (Request for Quotation) from customers in a timely and accurate manner. Create should-cost models in coordination with internal teams to develop competitive and profitable offers. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with customers while maintaining profitability. Collaborate with the Engineering / NPD (New Part Development) team to resolve any technical queries or deviations during the quotation process. Track the status of all RFQs and ensure timely internal approvals and customer submissions. Proactively follow up with customers to maximize conversion rates and identify reasons for lost opportunities. Develop and nurture strong relationships with key customers , understanding their business needs and aligning solutions accordingly. Regularly visit customer sites, attend meetings, and represent the company in business development discussions. Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments to inform sales strategy. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. (Mechanical / Electrical background preferred) 4–8 years of experience in sales or business development in a manufacturing / industrial environment. Experience in handling RFQs, preparing quotations, and should-cost modeling is essential . Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and technical specifications. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with MS Excel and CRM tools. Strong coordination and follow-up skills with a high sense of ownership. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with clients in the automotive, power, or renewable energy sectors. Familiarity with tools such as SAP, ERP systems, or cost estimation software.
