Costing Estimation Engineer

Responsibilities: Costing & Estimation – Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare project cost estimates based on technical drawings, specifications, and requirements. Analyze materials, labor, and overhead costs to determine accurate project pricing. Collect and review quotations from vendors and subcontractors for cost comparison. Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns for client proposals. Coordinate with the engineering and procurement teams to verify design and material specifications. Update cost databases and pricing records for reference in future projects. Support management in tendering and bidding by providing cost-related inputs and documentation. Evaluate project changes or variations and update cost implications accordingly. Prepare cost control reports and monitor actual vs. estimated expenses during execution. Ensure costing accuracy and compliance with company policies and client standards. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to clarify technical and commercial queries.
