AC Technician Responsibilities (VRF & Non-VRF Systems) Maintenance Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance on VRF, split, cassette, ductable, and package units. Clean filters, coils, drain pans, blowers, and outdoor units. Check refrigerant levels, pressure readings, and system performance. Ensure smooth operation and identify early warning signs of faults. Troubleshooting & Repair Diagnose and repair problems in VRF and non-VRF systems (cooling issues, PCB faults, sensor issues, compressor problems, fan motor issues, etc.). Check electrical circuits, communication errors, mode settings, and inverter systems. Replace faulty components like sensors, PCBs, compressor, motors, and contactors. Documentation & Reporting Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and material consumption reports. Update work completion details and report issues to the supervisor. Submit material requests for spare parts or additional requirements.
