Cost Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation & Cost Analysis

• Prepare detailed and accurate project cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and other resources.
• Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop estimates.
• Conduct cost comparisons and feasibility studies to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with procurement and technical teams to gather updated pricing and vendor quotations.

Project Support

• Assist project managers in transitioning estimates into actionable project budgets.
• Monitor actual project costs against estimates and report variances.
• Provide technical and cost-related support during project execution.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Support sales and business teams with cost inputs for proposals and tenders.
• Ensure timely responses to client inquiries regarding costing and estimation.
• Build and maintain effective communication with internal teams and external vendors for accurate data gathering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial) or related field.

• 3–6 years of experience

  in cost estimation, project estimation, or a related technical role.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the data center, HVAC, or construction industry.
• Familiarity with costing software and project management tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
